Camp

Camp is an excellent way to invest in the lives of vulnerable children. Through play and building relationships, kids will learn new things about themselves and others. Camp will not only just be an exciting time for kids to laugh and have fun, but it will also be a safe way for them to grow and heal from past trauma by providing them with the tools needed to process their unique stories. Through our activities at camp, these children will create new neural paths and build their vocabulary. Even more importantly, they will get to hear the Gospel and learn how God loves them and can redeem them.

 

There are a couple of ways you can be involved with our camps. You can help financially support our camp activities, or you can bring a short-term team to Romania during the summer and volunteer with us at camp.

 

Sponsor a project

We currently have two projects that are running (check the Project tab). Your financial gift can help us bring these children hope. It doesn’t matter what part of the world you live in; you can make a difference by investing in this work of providing a better future for orphans and vulnerable children in Romania.

Volunteer

Volunteers are very important to us because relationships make a significant impact in the lives of children with a history of trauma.

So we invite you to partner with us!

  • You can be a volunteer in our weekly programs. As a volunteer, you would help us run our activities, build relationships with the kids, and listen to their stories.

  • You can bring a short-term mission trip team to Romania to volunteer at our summer camps or to help us with our other programs throughout the year.

  • You can be an advocate for Rise Together through hosting fundraising events, providing presentations to share the mission and work of our organization, distributing material, or through a variety of other creative ideas.

Sponsor a child

By being a sponsor, you can make a difference in the life of a specific child. As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to build a relationship with your sponsored child by exchanging letters with them. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, send us an email and we will provide you with details about children in our programs who can be sponsored.

Support our staff

Our desire is to be consistent and reliable in the way that we invest in the lives of these children. These kids need solid Christian examples and specialists who they can depend on to walk alongside them through this journey of healing and meeting Jesus. By supporting our staff through financial donation and prayer, you will enable us to work full-time in order to ensure that these kids receive the care, attention, and healing they need.

 

Caregivers trainining

The caregivers spend a lot of time with the children. That's why we want to train all the parents, educators and even specialist that work with traumatized children. We want to help them to work better with these kids and together to make a differernce in their lives. Please support us in this project!  

Prayer Partner

Our journey will be long and filled with hard challenges, sweet victories, and everything in between. Together, we can raise our voices to praise God for the good moments and to ask Him for help with the hard ones. Please let us know if you would like to be a part of our prayer team by sending us an email, and we will keep you updated on ways you can be praying for us.

You can select from the list below to make a donation towards a specific category:

  1. School supplies (i.e. papers, crayons, notebooks, pens, glue, scissors, etc.)

  2. Therapy supplies (i.e. puppets, fidgets, trampoline, sensory materials, etc.)

  4. Special Events (i.e. parties and gifts for birthdays, Christmas, Easter, and other holidays)
